PROTECTING WAX FOR METALS

Good adhesive, hand-dry protective film with a long service life.

Quickly dry and water and salt resistant.

Safe on paints, rubber parts and plastics.

Temperature resistance up to + 90 ° C.

Skincoat forms a dry, grippy, homogeneous and good-adhesive protective layer against corrosion, rust or other surface oxidation.

Resists weather influences and is safe for metals, varnishes, rubbers and plastics.

Suitable for both external and internal protection and ideal for hollow spaces (thanks to the use of the flexible extension adapter).

Composition: wax-basis dissolved in solvent.
Colour: brown.
Odour: typical wax / solvent smell.
pH: 7.
Water solubility: insoluble.
Flashpoint: working material: >45°C; during treatment: highly inflammable.
Relative density: 0,6576 kg/dm3.
Hardening time: depending on the relative humidity and the ambient temperature 15 to 30 minutes.
Consumption per 500 ml: ca. 4 to 6 m2 in a thickness of 100 microns.
Shelf life: 36 months, keep dry, cool and frost-proof.

Long-term corrosion protection of machine parts, molds, tools, metal surfaces, shafts, ..., and due to its strong penetrating and filling capacity, ideal for wire cables, cavities, profiles, ....
Protection during sea and other transports prevents fly rust.
Protection after grinding and filing work: filings, metal shavings or other residues cannot cause internal corrosion in hollow spaces, such as thresholds, doors, trunk boxes, chassis beams, base plates, tunnel and cable passages, bonnets.

Excess wax is easily removed with TT-1014 Sikker Afrens FS..

Use the extension adapter for injection in cavities.
