Product description

TT-201 is a strong sealing agent based on hybrid MS-polymer. TT-201 is an ideal sealing agent. TT-201 has good bonding capacities on most building materials. TT-201 prevents fungoid growth and bacteria, does not make any stains on natural stone and can be applied on moist surfaces.

  • Elongation after fracture - DIN 53504: > 350%.
  • Colour invariability: colour change can be caused by external circumstances.
  • Can be repainted: OK with most solvent- and waterbased lacquers.
  • Application temperature: from +5°C up to +40°C.
  • Chemical resistance: good: water, seawater, aliphatic solvents, oils, greases, diluted organic acids, lyes; moderate: esters, ketones, aromatics; bad: concentrated acids, chlorinated solvents, swimming pool water.
  • Pressure resistance (ISO 11432): 0,84 N/mm².
  • Shelf life: 12 months, keep dry, cool and frost-free.

Application

  • The ideal transparent, elastic bonding and sealing product to use in the bathroom, kitchen and interior building.
  • Has a strong bonding on most materials as natural stone, bricks, concrete, ceramics, enamel, acrylic plastic, porcelain, lacquer, metals, soft and hard wood (excepted PP, PE, PTFE and bitumen). Leaves no traces on natural stone.
  • Does not dammage the silver layer of mirrors.

Instructions

  • Apply on clean surfaces, if necessary clean with TT-1014 Sikker Afrenc and/or TT-1007 Superfoam.
  • Remove unhardened residues with TT-1014 Sikker Afrens.

 

Change of colours can occur due to external influence, such as UV-light. Due to the wide variety of different plastic materials and compositions, as well as materials that are prone to stress cracking, preliminary trials are recommended.

Due to the diversity of varnishes and paints on the market we recommend preliminary tests. Using products based on alkyd resins may delay the drying process.
